We went up North to do some camping and detecting. We were joined by rcasio44 and his better half. What a pleasure it was to be with two wonderful people. We had permission to hunt a private college that dated back in the mid 1800's. We didn't find any real old coins, but we did find some silver. I found a 1942 and 59-D quarter, two wheat cents, a few old padlocks and the 1981 De Forrest H.S. Class ring. I'm sorry, but my computer won't read my memory card this morning and I didn't get any other pictures except for the class ring and a couple pictures of the university. We all had our detectors swinging and worked quite hard for what was found. I think it's been hunted before and it's also got a lot of fill dirt in places. I've made a call about the class ring, but so far can't find the owner. I will keep trying and also call the school. The best part of the weekend was when we all sat around the campfire and enjoyed each others company! Now that was PRICELESS! Thanks Rob & Paulette! Thanks for looking and HH to all, Nancy
