melted nonferrous metal

I'm finding melted nonferrous metal in the surf. It looks like it could have precious metal. How can you test it? If it looks like it could be a mix of gold and silver, should I cut cross sections of it to see the inside? And if so, how do you cut it?

does it have any weight to it?

I found something very similar on my beach. It is heavy like lead and very easy to bend. I think mine is melted lead but not sure.

When the parties are going on and there is a fire burning, sometimes one of them chunks an aluminum can into the fire an this is the result, have found plenty of those around here, LOL! They sound REAL nice and usually high tone with the Excal. Gotta hate 'em, but gotta dig 'em!
