Mega clad Stab N Grab!:detecting:

Checked forums, out the door at 7:00 and went to work some snowpiles with the F70. Hardly any fresh drops at all! I went to to a town south of here 20 miles and hit two different schools..both big areas, so I went on a highgrade spree to pay for the gas!

Set up 4 disc, DE mode, -3 thresh, 70 sens, DP tones and no notch..GB was high 70's...had to use Freq adjust from the solar flares hitting us right now...walked and worked stragglers, looking for the lane...got into a few nice spills, found one particular sports field area just full of clad, so I fiercely stayed on them! I only grabbed the easy shallow nickels and highgraded, got one of those 925 tri-ring deals, got one dollar coin, a JFK half, and just a stinky pile of Q's and D's...very few zincs, grabbed the ones that sounded different, walked away from the rest,

Home by 12:30...4 hours of Stabbin' and Grabbin' netted me 139 coins, for 19.37...one token, and about zero trash as you can imagine, the 70 is a laser on coins and it does'nt fool you often if at all when a fellow is strickly clad shootin that is......

Some of those tight spills can get confusing and caused the rig to null, or sound like trash, so a guy has to drop sens and pick through them...sometimes you only hear a "click" then weird null as the machine is trying to figure out what's under the coil, but those spills sure add up count, and are fun to hunt and unravel.

I'm liking this higher sens, I can run coil high, I can do the tap to Pinpoint, and it misses NOTHING! I'll go back for the nickels/zincs someday and hunt gold and chains for the hell of it..my butt sure hurts from all the stoopin and stabbing, couldnt hardly get out of the car when I got home! Self medicating now...:beers: Hope you all got out and got into something interesting! Again I say, I doubt theres another rig out there than can compete with the 70 on sheer speed for this type of hunting.

Mud you must be the fastest coin recovery guy on planet Earth. It just amazes me that you can stab and recover that many coins in that short of a period of time.

Nice going!

Good going on that mess of clad and the 925 ring(s) Good thing you don't dig trash, or you wouldn't be walking in the morning and I hate to see a grown man have to crawl. Great clad stabbing job, Mud. HH jim tn

I know right? Thats the honest count though...As I was hunting, I knew I had some good Q's and D's coming in, but It didnt seem like that much effort, ping, pop, ping, pop...my butt is feeling it now though!

We have some deep soft loam soil, so a guy can really stab coins effectively...If a fellow gets too vigorous, its easy to tip a coin on edge and then you got problems!
Hitting the coin on the first stab really helps, and stacks and spills can rack up numbers in short order....Someday I'll show you boys in real life!

Not my best or fastest clad day, but I was happy doing the cleanout considering the circumstances being laid off from hunting all Winter. They are calling for more SNOW Sunday, the temp has plummeted and it started raining after I got home...I might hit the water tomorrow am, if its gonna be raining/snowing,
