Meet

The lighting is a little harsh. But this is one of those great take it as is or lose it shots that you really can't be faulted. You've captured nicely a successful hunting scene from a world that most of us may never have seen had it not been for you and your trusty camera. National Geographic quality stuff there FOD! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
On another note, this photo kind of reminds me of me at the all you can eat Chinese buffet. The little orientals never think I can eat it all, but I always do. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
... no time for any kind of setup, just grab and shoot. I could not have done it without Jane and the LED light, no way to hand hold a macro like this at 1/15th sec. And in this case, Auto-focus was essential.

Jane and I are heading back to the states in Sept. for our annual R&R, and I am planning on building an LED lighting setup for shooting macros. I'll keep you posted.
