Meet Smokey...

YELLOWDOGDAVE

New member
A neighbor of mine has a visitor every now and then to his Squirrel / birdfeeder. I put a trail cam out there to try and get some shots of the little guy. Turns out he ain't so little. I can't believe the size of this guy for being so early in the spring.
Looks like 500 pounder to me.., of course I'm no good at judging bears - this is the first one I ever got pics of - they're not too common around my area.
All taken with a Sony S600 homebrew and a Yetti board.

LOL that is so cute... Looks like he has plenty on the ground to eat and from his size I don't think he goes hungry to much.. Really nice shots
Thanks for sharing.

Cute, Hell ! :surrender: Spring b'ars are supposed to be skinny & pore. This 'un looks good for 10 gallons of boot grease easy. I bet he was wintered up close to a campground somewhere - where Florida tourists go to cool off- and snagged hisself a couple of 'em during the winter thaws. Either that or he knows where there's a pile of dead hawgs. His real name could be LeeRoy or somethin' like that. I don't want him in my yard anyways. :ban:
