From the land of the Bluenose.....battered, shaken but not stirred I decided to sit out the championship game which we won 14-10 against the team that hammered us the day before. Perfect way to end the season so now it's time to dig out the "pain" gear as hockey season starts in about a week.

Decided that the best cure for what ailed me was to go a digging and do some knee bends. Hit a park in the city and mindlessly meandered over the field picking up the odd signal and jumping up a wall everytime the bell tower signaled the half or hour! Lord love a duck!

This field is elevated over the city and is always windy which, given the right breeze causes the Garrett to whistle as the air rushes through the holes on the stem of my machine. Eat your heart out Zamfir!

If you look closely at this photo over the building in the middle you can see the entire submarine fleet of our Canadian Navy. Mind you they are all hand me downs from the British navy and several have already had fires and major malfunctions.....a bargin at any price!

The heat was building up and this bouy retreated to a local lake to cool off and see what treasures I could swish up. Man it was a tad on the crispy side and after a half hour in the water my hands started to shrivel up like prunes along with other various body parts. Did take my mind off my injuries though.

Take for the day was a key, Fuller tie pin, body piercing ring and 64 coins @ $5.89

Of course Marie was busy the whole day getting supplies for the wedding cake that her sister and she is making for a "biker's wedding" that is taking place in her father's back yard. Kenny her brother is the pres of the Sackville Road Dwags and is hosting the event. Should be a sight for sore eyes. Have been to a few of their functions and have always had a good time but nothing said or done would get this bouy on a hog!

Nice little haul Les. How about posting a picture of the Dawgs after the wedding.

Yeah I know about them "hogs" and the bunch that rides them. My cousin used to belong to the Hells Angels. Now these boys had some real wild gigs.
