Found this at an old cemetary. Probably my first and last cemetary because I just didn't feel right detecting there. Anyway, I found an indian head penny and this. I seems to have had a pin on the back side. I did a search on the net and couldn't find any american organization with these letters. If you can't see them the letters are G.I.A or just now looking closer it could possibly be G.J.A. Did a quick search for G.J.A. and didn't find much. Can anyone help?
Thanks

It's the top part (hanger bar) of a ribbon badge, probably from a convention or some other special event. Although the initials could stand for the name of an organization, they could also represent its motto-- for example, the Odd Fellows use "F. L. T." for friendship, love, and truth..
