Me and the T2 have a date for Sunday

Its a double date, but the T2 don't care  We got some moisture so I should be able to dig some plugs this weekend. Plus I want to map a couple of new spots I found :super:

My snow bird friends are still in town and they'll probably want to go too. Good thing I've got enough detectors to go around

No unprotected detecting, now. Be sure to wear your gloves.

Mike, just out of curiosity, how often do you catch yourself loaning out your detectors to visitors? Then of all the visitors you loan them too that already aren't detecting converts how many do? :)

There is a regular group of about 14 of us that share interests and spend time together, meet for dinner, or just socialized alot. Of that group, only one has started getting as avid as I am. Two others bought a machine last year but never use them unless I take them out somewhere, and another is getting interested and wants me to take him ghost town hunting.

Fun to watch them. They all like to take turns detecting and we have a lot of fun together, but not everyone likes it enough to buy their own

Last time I got out, my wife and another couple (my snowbird friends) went to a couple of local school grounds on my circuit and had some fun teaching them how to use the machines and where to look. Right now they are thinking about getting an Ace-250. I hope they do.

Another guy at work helps me with my site research and has helped get me permission to get on land with some nice opportunites. He doesn't detect yet but thinks its a neat thing. He wants to go with me when I hunt these sites and I will be sure to take him. I'm pretty sure he'll have his own detector before summer is up.

Seems for some of us, we really get into it, and others can take it or leave it.
