the same hole. The Mexican coins are a $5.00 and a $10.00 for a total of $16.00 in foreign money with the English dollar which says Belize 1991 plus found a few cents in American money. Never found a mixture of foreign coins like that especially in the same pile.

Bill.

Have you made any tests on lowering the iron resolution? I would put it to just get rid of paper clips, hairpins in my area.

Nice hunt!:detecting:Good clad haul!:clapping:Congrats on the foreign coins. That's a Belize Dollar ( 2 BZ$ = 1 US$ ) and those Mexican coins are Pesos (about 12 Pesos to the dollar, now). Not unusual that they're found in the same hole as Belize borders Mexico on the Carribean Sea. Most probably dropped/lost at the same time by the same person. :wiggle: Belize used to be a Crown Colony of Britain.
I love Belize. I've been there a few times, but it's been a while. Remember when it used to be cool to go to Mexico, before all this drug violence mess. What a shame:(
Thanks for sharing!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

Thanks for the geography lesson. Yeah I used to go down south of the border to TJ and Rosarita Beach and beyond in the old days ( also to the Sea of Cortez to fish for pintos ) when it was safe. Ain't that way anymore.
