Got out for awhile in our gorgeous weather and hit a couple of playgrounds. The pennies are stacked in fives. The rusty nickel really gave some strange signals and I've never seen one rust. Shows how cheap our money is. Found several tiny junk items that I would never have found without the Sunray Probe, also the rusty nickel as it was the same color as the chips. A lot of the chips are still soaking wet underneath.

Nice finds Bill. I wish I could even come close to that when I go out....Lately it seems like everyone and their brother and twice removed cousins have a detector around here....

Not to bad. Not as good as it used to be. Awhile back you could pull five to seven dollars out of one playground. Some years ago I hunted a grassy knoll in front of a high school auditorium and pulled out over $13.00 plus two 14kt gold rings, a silver ring, a gold bracelet watch, and a silver bracelet.

Same way here. I used to have places staked out that only I knew about but no more. It's like everything else. One of these days there will be so many out there you won't be able to find squat. I have my lousy days along with the good ones. I long for the days when you could find a pile when you went out. Now you really have to hustle just to find a little bit.
