I got out a few times this week and for me this is pretty good. I especially love finding a good button. The ones not up close are just flat buttons and also a spencer casing. The mexican silver coin is dated 1777 and I think it's a 2 reale?

Those are some of the best finds I have seen on here, :clapping: Love the civil war relics. Great job keep up the good work:thumbup:

Excellent finds on those old coins..

Are you sure that the silver coin is not Spanish? I haven't seen enough reales to know.

Good for ya! Out here in the Pacific Northwest, we don't find the civil war pieces. Wish we did, it would add some variety to our other finds.

... yep, gotta get me one of them!

Now that display is an eye opener. :yikes: The 3 ringers are awesome and I love the Spanish real along with one of my faves........the Indian Cent. There's something about the Indians that I love to see. You had a great week of detecting and I'm a bit jelous. Seeing your finds makes me want to put my winter coat on and give it a try today, but I don't think that's going to happen. I'm too wimpy. :poke: Thanks for sharing and I wish you more great finds in the future. HH to all, Nancy
