I wish I was off work TODAY!!! Duke is down there right now, lucky bugger!!!
Storm prob turned up some goodies!!! Here's my take from Sat. night. I got a grill !!! lol. It's stamped 14k but it dosen't look right ? Also found a small 10k chain/anklet. I wish I could say the small chain sounded off like a gong, but it did not, was just a strange scrachy sound. Found more dimes than zincs? some of them at very good depths. The 4 oz sinker was about 2 feet deep I swear! Just about pulled my shoulder out digging it. Signal started as a rise in threshold with no id, signal was X 'able and was short and crisp. As soon as I dug about 8 it went to blue led, but was short so I dug, and dug,and dug it.
I'm very pleased with the preformance of the BHID in the saltwater (in AM mode, jacked up) even with the 9.5 coil. Also excals and BHIDs do not get along!!! too close on the freqs I guess. (or performance,lol)
I need to get a diff. scoop, my small scoop is not cutting it and my monster scoop is just too big!! I'd like to find something with a 45 deg basket but not a hvy. monster! Just for wet sand.

Gustav throw a bunch of sand up on the beach. It pretty much buried everthing. I found more nickel than usual. Gotta run. Family wants to go some place.
