MD'ing with the stock coil.

Life goes on without the sniper. With the stock coil I have to turn the sensitivity down in this soil and I don't get the depth of the sniper.
Total: five wheat's oldest being 1920. Total wheat's for the year:117.

Got this token. I'm sure it means one stick of dynamite. We use to be able to buy it all the time around here for removing rocks and tree stumps.

I dislike the aluminum tokens. They get ate up so bad in this soil. Back side.

I have no idea what these lead things are?

Been getting a lot of rain. The water at the falls near my place is up high. It is hard to see them from my side of the river. I'm in a dark jungle of trees.

No, I will fix it. I just had to get some more tools. I live in an apartment and all my tools are at my parents place.

Do you mean to tell me that all those yards you have been doing where the interstate is going through have been with a sniper coil? If so, I have new respect for your detecting prowess and your patience.

I use to use the stock coil till I got the sniper. Those yards are trashy and the sniper finds the targets that have iron trash next to them. It goes in between that stuff. If I have a yard that was a good producer, I will go back over it with the stock coil hoping to find something I missed. I found out in highly mineralized soil the stock coil won't go any deeper. Like high beams in the fog. The low beams penetrate more, so does the sniper. On beaches or an open field I would use the stock coil. In trash, I won't be with out my sniper. I would miss too much.
