What type of belt do use to hang your pin-pointer and digging tool on?
Any photos of your set up would be cool too,

I have one like this.. do some searching they come in different lengths. I found one that went from 28-48 or something.. I like so far

this works best for me, its easy to slip the pinpointed in the large pouch fast , and the thing to the right holds my strong neodymium magnet which is fast , then i carry my matt & diggers in a 5 gal bucket and use it to get up with as well

I use a two inch Web belt. It allows me to have my pin pointer on my left, My finds pouch in front and the digger on my right. Works very well for me.

Does the fabric of the belt want to curl or does it lay flat
around you. My concern is the lack of stiffness of the nylon belt material to keep the heavier lopped
items hanging off of it from curling the belt.

The 2" police/emt belt is stiff and will not roll .. that is why I got it, the belt on the garret bag is crap and rolls into a rope...

I agree !!! This is a Great belt and it holds its shape with all my garb on it !!!. But what I really like is the safety button on the belt latch that prevents coming apart if stressed or pushed to release. And high quality for the money !!!

I have been using that two inch belt for 2 1/2 years. So far it has worked quite well and has not decided to start rolling up like some belts will do. I am an OLD Retired type and I spend Lots and Lots of hours out playing in the dirt.
