I'm vacationing in Sept at chinqoteauge island VA. Can you md there and can you md on assateauge island VA.are there any good places to md in that area.
 
Assateague Island is a National park and is clearly marked on the regulations posted at the entrances No Metal Detecting.

I do not know about Chincoteague Island except that it is largely covered with private homes / private property. So I would presume that if you got permission to hunt on private property you would be OK.

Take bug spray. The mosquitoes are plentiful!
