maybe my best find yet

got to go out for a little bit today, mostly clad but i kept getting this weird signal it was bouncing back and forth from 50's to 70's i actually passed it up three times and on my way out i decided to dig it was at least 7 inches deep i about gave up again then i pinpointed it, right away i seen silver but ive never seen anything like it before its smaller then a dime, no readable date but it does have a roman numeral 111 on it and a star on other side. So i googled it and it looks like i have a three cent piece sure wish i could see a date. thanks bryan
 
Thats a great find I have never seen a coin like that before anyway its great . congrats

Looks to be a Type I. They were made in the first few years.....never found a 3 cent silver and big congrats!!!!
 
I think NW is right on Bryan. Variety 1, 1851 to 1853.

Congratulations, that is a SUPER find.
