I thought I would go MD'ing in the woods before all the leaves came back on the trees. There was this house and shed I found as a kid. It is situated on top of a cliff above the hi-way. The shed was full of old glass bottles. My cousin and I trashed the place. There were lots of old milk bottles and crock jars. There aren't any left there now. I would say it was last lived in, in the 50's. I found an old 3 ft.x2ft. cistern that was full of stone and glass. Most of the area made my Ace null out with all the iron in the ground. The path to the privy was cindered and played havoc with the Ace. I found no coins at this place, but I did find an old watch and two Pitts. police buttons. This place is 90 miles from Pittsburgh. After this place, I went to a couple other places. That is where the coins, and the other pocket watch parts came from.

The watch is a Fahy's. He had many pat. on watch cases that screw together. They are built like a tank. I found the body to one last week also. It says on the inside Fahy's oresilver #1, Pat.Feb. 19th, 1886.

I did electrolysis on the watch to clean it up and it doesn't look silver to me.
