Maybe I abuse my cameras too much? HMMMM...

There was that time the batteries leaked. Then again, I was able to save my camera after the acid dried up. The only damage was the pealed off paint in some spots.

Theres also all the times when I go hiking. Maybe the cold is getting to them, or could it be when they bump up against me when I'm hiking; however, they are well protected in their bags. I wonder if those two things actually damage them?

On the other hand, why am I worrying about them? They were only $30 and $80 dollar cameras (only in the photo biz for the fun), after all. What do you guys think: abusive or not abusive??

The cheaper of the 2 cameras (Argus DC2185) surprisingly takes better photos than the more expensive camera does sometimes. And its the one thats had the battery leak!

It all sounds like normal use to me. The leaking batteries sounds like something I would do. I've been lucky so far which brings to mind I need to check my Flash and see if I have batteries leaking. Once you buy a more expensive camera and lens then you will check it more often. I try not to let my camera hit anything but then I don't have money to replace it. Damaged camera = out of the photo business for a long time. Lets see some photos!!
have a nice day
