Went for a solo spin last evening to leadsville and was in the water by 9P, into a 1004P 0.4L and SE winds at 5-10. Was running the Excal again. This is not PI territory!
Went back to the area in the mine, that I had found the chain and brought a buoy rig out there and worked around it, when a coin showed. Did not feel like I was able to get out quite as deep as the day before, but the hunt went well anyway. Target density will still decent. There is an ENORMOUS amount of work to do in this surf area.

Total clad count was $2.80. The loot take was a 14K woman's ring, w/5 diamonds. They are not large, but it sure was purty glimmering in the 11LBER, under my headlight! The next gold target was the pendant/medallion and it says, "VANESSA". I searched it over for a mark and found none. I gave it a scrape and it holds 10K well and does not fade out 14K, so it could possibly be somewhere in between these 2. Bailed around 2A and headed home.

Nice ring GH... I didn't see your finds from yesterday :( I'll have to look see... You don't worry about sharks hunting in the water at night?
 
Bulls are the only ones I'm worried about. Never seen any bigguns around me, but that does not mean their not there! Sometimes in the summer, when I go over the 3rd bar, I get a little nervous. Life is dangerous, but I'm not gunna hide in the closet at home, I'm gunna loot!
 
G.H. what brand of Diamond tester are you using, I want to get one soon. Any Info. will be greatly appreciated.
 
PaPa, mine is a CERES CZECKPOINT XL. I like it, but wish I had bought 1 like Mike (VA beach) and David of Suffolk have. You might want to get their opinion in this matter. Reason being is theirs tests for moissanite and other precious gem stones. That's very helpful. Good luck with your decision.
