May finally get a new detector

I am saving up for a new detector should be ready for purchase soon. Was having trouble deciding which one to get I want to stay under $300. I have a tracker iv now and mostly coinshoot. I am either going with the ace 250 or the bh pioneer 505. What do you guys think the better choice would be. Thanx

budha24, this might be of help to you:

This is Kellyco's comparison of the Ace 250 and the BH Pioneer 505. Based on what I've heard and read, the 505 might be better in the ground mineralization and depth departments. It has manual ground balancing, which is important if you live in a part of the world with high ground mineralization (i.e. iron) and want that extra depth. My best advice is to do a lot of research and read as much about each as you can. Good luck and happy hunting, abcoin.

If your only choices are the 250 or the BH then I would say the 250 is probably your best bet. I have not used the BH but my daughter has the 250 and found silver her first time out. It is a nice little detector. You might take a look at the Minelab Xterra 305 or 30. also If you are ambitious take a look at a used Explorer XS I have seen some go for around 300 and the FBS technology is fantastic.

My most humble opinion, --- you absolutely will not beat the Fisher F2 for the money. --- Ace 250 comes in a distant second.

all 505 finds also not shown 2 gold rings gold braclet

We have both and for the money I would go with the ace 250 they are both very good detectors .I just like the ace better. wife has out hunted me more than once with ace we use it on the beach and on land as well we live in Florida salt water beaches it works well I use a white M6 and a beach hunter 300. just my 2 cents.ACE250 is a great Little coin shooter as well finding small gold items jewelry ,rings ROADKING

Don't forget to compare the warranty of all possible choices.
