Hello all!

1st Day out with new 70... getting the feel for it... My daughter went with for part of the day... She found the army guy... all metal... looks like it was painted a light brown originally... and as you can see... he was wounded and did not survive :-( She found a metal button that did not make the picture... I'll add to to next one..

That one dime is a 1951... and shiny silver

Lucky guy. First hunt, first silver. I still only have one silver coin in nine months of hunting. Sorry, about the soldier but I don't think they make prosthetics for that fellow.

Congrats on the silver! That is great to find it this quick! I like th Armr soldier. I would think that you are hitting an older spot by those 2 finds. Good luck on future digs at this site, Beale.

I would definitely be hitting that spot a metal army figure I would think is older!. How old is your daughter? It's great she's into the hobby my daughter is four and she like to go to the park with her plastic bucket an shovel and add my coins to HER piggy bank! I only keep the 82's and below I think in the last 4 months she has about $100.00 in change we have to get cleaned up for her and all she wants is a sucker I've tried to explain to her she can get a pretty god toy with a hundred bucks! Nice finds Hopefully that spot gives up some more silver for you! Grant
