This poor guy was taking off but ran out of room. Notice he's full throttle. He banks right but there is either little room or a boat in the way so the pilot cuts throttle and ditches it on the beach. Scary huh!
Sea planes require a lot of room to take off. Sometimes three times as much as it did to land.
