Hi guys just a few photos to show what i do find in pin point after the hot topic from last week re ( I need your advice) I like to use discriminate only when i get lots of trash in the ground.Lots of different opinions thanks for all the help i will try all methods suggested.

The phone you see was found by me and returned to a life guard he was happy to pick it up from my home and had no objections to having his photo on the net.

Not sure if you can pick the large silver ring, that was so funny the tone was as if somebody had passed wind i dug anyway and really thought it was junk, but it just goes to show dig everything if you have the time.

Cheers Maureen..

P.S. why do the sinkers have such a good tone?

Some real nice finds Maureen:thumbup:

That beach sand looks pretty firm, is that how it is at most of the beaches you hunt?

Neil

Hi Neil,

no not all beaches are like that one this particular Beach is beautiful Broome and there the sand is hard and you are allowed to take your vehicles onto the beach,i wish we could do that on all of our beaches. Our local beaches are not as wide so they are much easier to hunt the sand is only hard at the waters edge Broome beach can be daunting being so wide.

HH Maureen..

The firmer beaches are easier to walk on but the softer beaches must produce the better finds there right? Once something is dropped in the soft stuff, if not recovered right away, its pretty much gone until someone with a detector comes along. people walking over the soft stuff drives finds down even deeper.
we have a few big beaches like that but mostly they are smaller by comparison.
Neil

judging by your finds i would say you are more qualified to give advise than recieve lol lol ..... very nice finds....... keep doing what works for you.....
