BEACH HUNTER IN MASS

seems I have to work alot harder to pull in good numbers in clad/jewlery this year. last years 4th week seemed much better. what do you guys think? hh B.H
 
I only hit the beach the 2nd and 3rd it was ok, got a big silver ring...new coins were there...I fished the 4th, caught a striper and a lobsta, let them both live, and haven't been back since. York was mobbed and I am sure there has got to be something gold lost. It's not easy hunting the sand when it is crowded like that. I had a few jokers tossing pennys in front of me and kids constantly asking questions, didn't feel much like hanging around for them to go home, it would have been a long day.
 
I hunted with BOSTON BOB from 7pm the 4th till 7am the 5th yes 12 hrs straight!! we had Hampton to ourselves till 3am then the other hunters started to roll in.lots of clad little gold-n-silver but for the amount of coin and time spent seemed like we should have got more jewlery.I got a little over a week of vaca. left hope it picks up may try Revere ths weekend or Carson beach.If we get a tropical storm it won't take much to turn up some real good finds the beaches are still ripped up from the May storm.If you get a chance you should make the trip down after the next storm.Get some of the old coins maybe some gold!HH LOOK OUT FOR PUNKS WHIPPING QUARTERS THEY STING!! B.H
 
Wow, now that is a long time for hunting, 12hrs...shoot after 3 I am weary, but that is when the hot sun is out. When is a good time to hunt there in salisbury to avoid the punks, Cause I am afraid I would have to explode if someone whipped a quarter at me...I am just waiting for someone to light my fuse....BOOOOMMMM!!!!! Now that would piss me off. I have been to Hampton before when a gang of 6-8 (boys) were yelling something at me and I just ignored them and they went away...no fatalities that day.
