Matching Wedding Bands? No, but I sure thought so.

These are from Saturdays hunt, found the two rings over 150 yards apart.
When I got them back to the car I thought for sure I had matching wedding bands until I read the inscriptions.
The mans ring was 925 and the ladies ring was 14k.
They sure did look similar...but as you can see the gold ring on the right has alot more luster.

Also snagged a small childs gold bracelet, no markings that I can see?
Looks and sounds like real gold though.

The bracelet probably is gold. Do you own a gold acid test kit? That will help you make an educated guess, about the karat weight. That will get you the bar OUTATIME! Nice rings too!
 
I confess to knowing very little about such things, not like you pirates, but - and no offense - I'll place by bets on NOT GOLD.
