Master Hunter model

Is anyone still using or has owned the Garrett Master 5 ADS? I'm starting to get back into detecting & have had this one for many years. Any idea when it was made?
Thanks

Hi there Phil. I still have my MH-5 ADS and my AM-2. I bought them both in 1987 and think they where made up to around 1990. I still use them as they work as well as when I first got them. Hope that helps you. Pete

I have the Garrett Master Hunter CX Plus model. This is a more modern version of the old Garrett Deep Seeker. I had one of these back in 1981. I found many relics with this detector. They were great detectors. I was going to ask if anyone here relic hunts with the Master Hunter CX Plus with the DD 10 x 14 coil. This is my backup detector for now, but it is still a good relic detector.
