MASTER HUNTER FINDS RING AND BARBER:clapping:

New member
Went to old high school and was expecting to find some new clad but came up with a nice 1907s barber Thanksgiving morning. Left for vacation an took my relic with me and tried a beach hunt for the first time and came up with a ring (silver). This was my 5th and 6th hunt and I am pleased with the results.
Here is hunt 5:

Nice finds. I found my first and only Barber this year. That old Garrett just keeps on producing. Nice ring also.

I'd be sure & cover the area good. Many new schools were built on the same location as the school that stood before it. Might be more early 1900's coinage there. Congrats on the finds!

Yea, that is true about new schools being built on the sit of old schools. I have 1920 topo maps and I high lighted the old schools on it. When I am in the area I check the site out and many times there is a newer school on it. If the situation is right and not too much grading you can find old coins at the newer school. There where probably 10 times more schools sites in the old days, with all the little one room school houses.

Good point. Never thought of that.

That old relic is still competitive with the current line-up! On the secondary market it is still highly wanted and desirable! Also many of its optionable accessories are not hard to locate!...................In fact, I use the Master Hunter 5 and the Master Hunter 7X and I would never get rid of them!.....................................................HH................Joe
