Masked brass thing found after removing old cone top beer can

I have permission to hunt a 40,s house and I am cleaning up the surface 6" with the gold bug I got a signal and found a old cone top beer can about 5" deep and it was coming out in bits and pieces, I was using the magnet to get all the bits , or Iron you can see in the picture how the stick to the magnet I keept re scaning the hole after sweeping it with the magnet still getting a signal but nothing sticking to the magnet so i switched to disq , and a nice high tone comes thru well out came a nice brass thing you can see it obove the LIFTIME logo this is why i dig all metal to uncover masked Items and that brass think could have been a silver coin , so I will keep this up on this site after the 6" stuff is gone i will get out the blisstool and go for the deep things ,

That's persistence Gunner I know how bad some houses can be I gave up here(on trying to clean it out) after taking a 4x4 foot cross section to sample. Within 4 inches I had removed 125 pcs of ferrous items and 6 non ferrous. I am totally impressed that I have found what I have around here considering the carpet of nails on this old gold rush property. I'm sure there is more good stuff here but the rest of the world is easier picking.
