Martin Luther King Jr - holiday

Lost a days wages today as the State Offices were closed due to this 'holiday'. I don't understand many things - never figured I was an ignorant man. This person - deceased - is worshipped and a special holiday set aside for him and him alone. We used to have several Presidents birthdays then they were all thrown into one heap.

So back to this 'King' guy. He had a dream. Haven't we all? So what is so special about this person? I'm not going to try to figure it out.

What I am going to say is there is but One KING - King of Kings and His name is Jesus. Today as others celebrated the other 'king' I took the opportunity to remember who the real King is. Jesus died too but He rose again. Jesus had a lot to say when He was here on earth and not everyone listened - as they don't all listen today. The dream Mr. King Jr. had may well have been a reality except for one thing - the lack of God in the lives of those 'show respect for a man because of a dream' and don't show respect and honor to the One who has 'set them free'.
And when Jr says "free indeed" - well I doubt he meant or thought of Jesus who was the One who did set people 'Free Indeed!'

"Jesus you are Lord of lords and King of kings. I pray that others will give praise, honor and glory to your name and quit making other men into idols to worship. You and only you have 'set us free - set us free indeed!' Thank you Jesus and Thank you to out Father God."

that movie about two homosexuals made Broke Mountain or whatever it's called! This is the way the people of the world are doing (Christians are in the world but not of it)! They call good, evil, and evil, good! But, since they can't hear or see spiritually, well what else should we expect, as only in Jesus' light do we see the truth of God!

I don't worry about those who commit adultery like J.F.K, M.L.K, Jr., Jessie Jackson, Bill Clinton and all who live in sin, unless they accept Jesus as their own personal Savior and stop sinning willfully, God will deal with them someday and they will have to face His just judgement! But I get sick and tired of hearing about them on the news!

I do pray for those who need Jesus and ask God to have mercy on many, but others I just ask Him to either change their hearts and change their ways and make new creatures in Christ out of them or move them on out of this world to save other people from their wickedness and unjust treatments! Is this not being a Christian? I don't think so, because they lie, steal, kill and destroy many before they have a chance for their souls to be saved!

That's what I believe and I'm sticking to it! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus for having mercy on me and please have mercy on my loved ones and save their souls before it is forever too late! Amen!
