or most any other make or models detector that is a quality-built and designed detector are really simply summarized like this:
I have found that in most cases the detector manufacturer who produces a quality-designed detector has accomplished that task by using their own preferred search coils. Those can be made by them in-house, or they can be contracted out, but in all cases the search coils the detector manufacturer offers with their detectors or as accessory coils have been very reliable in both build quality and end performance.
In this case I have to say I use "foreign made" search coils on preferred detectors, and they are made in Turkey by or for the Makro Detectors and Nokta Detector Technology. I have tried a number of different brands of after-market search coils for many makes and models out there during the past couple of decades, and that includes some for the Makro Racer 2, and while I have used one that seems to work pretty well as a smaller-size coil for densely littered sites, I didn't find it appealing enough to get one to replace wither the Makro 5½" round DD or the
'OOR' shaped DD.

Does anyone have the Mars Tiger coild for the Racer 2?
Nope, and I haven't seen one in use to valuate and I know quite a few people who are using the Makro racer series detectors.

I've sold my stock/standard Racer coil and was going to gel a Nel tornado, but i'm 99% sure it's gonna be the Mars Tiger instead.
Matt, you made me wonder why you got rid of the very good 7X11 DD standard Racer 2 coil?
Of course I am rather partial to smaller-than-stock search coils for the abundance of trash at all of my Relic Hunting sites and use the small 5½" DD coil the most on the Racer 2 with the 5½X10 DD being a preferred coil for low-to-modest trashy sites. There are time s when I have more favorable conditions and I want or need a little better coverage per sweep and/or some increased depth of detection, and for that I mount a 7X11 DD coil. That coil provides me with very adequate depth of detection for the smaller-size coins, trade tokens, buttons, jewelry and other artifacts I am out there looking for. It has also served me well for some cache hunting or other contract searches I have done for larger-size objects.
Have you tried any of the Makro accessory coils that are larger than the stock search coil?

Nope.

Much difference in depth over standard coil?
I would presume there should be as it is a larger-size search coil, but

Also, what's the weight for the Mars Tiget...can't seem to find it anywhere.
I am not a master of the Internet, but I searched and couldn't find it either. What I do know is that I have used the standard 7X11 DD and larger search coils on a Racer and Racer 2 and, for me, I felt them get me fatigued and they felt uncomfortable to if I wanted to use them for any prolonged period of time. Looking at the Mars Tiger coil, it seems like it would also be a heavier feeling search coil and that could lead to quicker fatigue if I planned to hunt a site for very long. Even the standard 7X11 for the Racer 2 tends to get me a bit tired after maybe a 15 to 20 minute hunt time, and when I want to use a bigger-than-stock coil, I grab my CoRe as it is very comfortable to use in wide-open plowed fields and the like with the stock coil, and even handleable when a bigger 13X15 DD coil is mounted for a short duration...
I can't help you, but your comment about selling your stock coil just go me very curious as to why.
