I have the coil on my X-Terra (the Tiger). It works well.

I have both, the Sniper is a gem for trashy areas using 18.75 Khz . Have the Tiger for 3 machines including the X-T 705.

Anyone use the sniper(10x6) 3khz-18.75khz? If so, how does the LF compare to the HF(depth etc.) I use a cors fortune 18.75khz (9.5x5.5) and am trying to determine if it would be worth the investment for another coil. Would probably purchase the 3khz-7.5khz to have all 3 frequencies. The cors was like adding a turbo and is an all around super coil that is waterproof....great for a wader. I like the size of the sniper. I use a cors hunter(12.5x8.5) on my Sovereign GT, but like using the smaller coil better for general use.

I have a nel hunter, storm, and sharp shooter. And like all of them. The nel are the same company as cores coils. Actually same coil just different names

Have to correct myself on my previous post. I have the Cors Scout for the Sovereign not the Nel Hunter. I've been looking at the 3 freq Nel Hunter for the X-terra so the Hunter was on my mind....does anyone here use that coil? Still would like to hear from someone using the Mars Sniper....especially with one of the frequencies being 3khz.

The 7.5 kHz Mars Sniper is no slouch either. Have found rings on the beach and in the lake with this coil.
