Got to the lane about 630pm and was heading into a 10pm 0.0L and it was really out with the light norther we just had. Wanted to keep my pi skills honed. Targets were showing better, with some fresh drop and a few 60s pennies, so maybe some sand moving. Quit around 11pm and the tide was coming in pretty good and wind coming out of the east. Total clad take was $2.64, 50 pesos coin, ferrous hoop, junk earring w/cz, unusual junk ring (we just had kappa at the beach) and the prize was the .925 chain and it sure looks fresh. Had a good time swimming with the fishes.

Looks like you had a productive evening GH :) I couldn't detect at night where you live, not with the thought of sharks in the water..Great ring and chain :) What is that cylinder at the bottom of the page? A pin?

Gulf Hunter,

Great finds. I will be on the East Coast (Port St Lucie area) 5/1 I will be sending the Infinium LS on its maiden surf voyage. I will be using the 8" mono due to it's size for travel. My time will be short as this is a quick bussiness trip. I will let you know how it goes. I can only hope to smidgin as lucky as you. I may concentrate on the less public beaches and more on the known treasure wreck beaches.

Are you referring to the think on the newspaper? That is my magnet. It just made the pic somehow. Somebody on here called it a cow magnet, whatever that is.
