hello, does anyone know anything about the teknetics mark 1 detector that Keith wills is selling i believe they are new units. are they the same as the older mark 1's
 
I have one an love it. It's a bit heavy but I find just as much as my brother-in-lawn with his Ace 250 and I am now running a 10" Bounty Hunter coil on it for more detpth. I am also using Radio Shack NiCad rechargables. They last a long time.
 
Little late making comment. There is no comparision between Mark I and Ace 250. Mark I is still the greatest coin machine. By the way mine is Red and Black.
 
I got a E-Trac about a year ago. It's definitely better than my old Mark 1 but I am hanging on my Mark 1 for the kids. It's one heck of a machine considering it's age.
