The first Fisher 7x10 inch F2/F4 DD push in and turn coil will work with the Mark 1 without an adapter...True or false......

True, at least my does.

Great question and my old friend hit it out of the park.

Here's a few pics of the first batch of a Fisher F2/F4 DD coil, 5-pin push type.

The newer later DD version were made different, Believe they added a dummy pin. Ordered one when they were first available, glad I did very good coil for mineralization and gets decent depth. Detects an 8" buried penny with ease and ID is remarkable even at 8" inches, locks on.

I'm sure you'll eventually find a used one, have patience you'll find one.

Paul

Thanks George!

You have a safe and happy new years!
