to Ms.Lake Michigan.........Ice is about all gone,seagulls back,wanting to be fed.Air was real clear,we could see that old broken down flight of stairs from that foreclosed resort,coming down the lake side of the bluff,probly 1/2 a mile or more down the beach from where we were sitting.SOON,we are going to take an exploratory hike with Mr. Garrett GTA1350,down to that beach where the resort's guests went to swim....I told Marcia about another lake up Mackinaw way,that a co-worker told me about,years ago.........It's off the beaten path,well known by locals......Stories about about lost wedding bands,necklaces,etc;being lost in them waters,with the gorgeous sand bottom,so easy to dig in....Ive been there a couple of times years ago. If we go back and its not posted,well......We SHALL
....PS:Marcia and I found another nice public swimming area,in a town about 10 miles from the house here in Montague!...We went there the other day,read the rules:"NO CUSSING,FIGHTING,DRINKING; DRUG USE,NO OBSCENE CONDUCT,NO IMMORAL ACTS,GAMBLING,OR ANY KIND OF ANIMALS ALLOWED IN THIS PARK/BEACH".......Sounds like OUR kind of place.......BEST PART??It DIDNT say,"NO METAL DETECTING".......
