Took advanage of the 80 degree day and went to a friends house. Looked for his mom's Ruby ring with no
luck today, but lots of area to still cover.

Did find these items, the one group was some type of spill. The owner said many years ago his sister dropped some
coins in this area while trying to get a car out of the snow. (Seems that they had a party while mom & dad where gone.):nono:
Button has shank on back and maker name but haven't got it yet. The large item might be some type of button, but
not sure. There is some type of pattern on it, maybe little more cleaning.

Globe item appears to be some type of watering head? I couldn't find anything on it, any ideas?

I Am Impressed By Your Finds And Organization Skills

That said Your Energy Is Outstanding

Congratulation on the Finds

Looks good !!!!

The disc is not copper, and the Globe is a fire springer head and date of 1928 on it, and this company
still makes the springer heads.

Return to same location today. Will post pictures tomorrow but found a 1942D Mercury; 1951 Rosie;1967 & 1965 quarters.
1920 Wheatie; 1987, 1979D Pennies; 1986D & 198? dimes. What appears to be a fired musket ball; a silver button, 1 "Shift
Kickers" #17 toy race car; a part of a silver flatware dated 1912 with initals "HF" on it. We believe it belonged to person who
owned all this land in 1800s. Also couple other pieces of metal and a drilled " Our Lady of Loreto" medal. She was the
patron of Aviators and Flying.

Very productive day. Looking forward to some pics.

Greetings,
Here are the photos of yesterday and today's hunt. The Our Lady of Loreto medal is for Flying and
Aviators, and I was talking to my friend that owns the home, and his father who is deceased, was one of
the first New York State Police pilots! The medal might have been given to his dad for being a pilot.
Not sure but I asked if he wanted the medal but he said no.

My friend just lost his wife to cancer, so I will give him some time and see if he might change his
mine.

Is the one item some type of buckle? This was found in the woods behind the house.

Just a little side, my friend has a dog.....I was telling him how some good stuff always is right under
doggie dodo, well the Loreto medal, yup right smack under "McDuff" the Jack Russell's dodo!
landmines....

Date on silver fork/spoon -Dated 1912 - The year the RMS Titanic sank? Someone mad and broke the spoon or fork? Just makes me wonder.
