Marathon Hunt for Galveston Surf Pirates.....Well 1/2 of the team anyway!

Huntress and I went for a day hunt on monday, 1249P 0.7L SW 10-15. Our hunt began at 930A in a recently productive surf area and it was sanded and not producing any target density, same with the second area. The 3rd area was much more interesting though and targets were plentiful as you can see. The 1st 2 surf areas produced about $.13, but this 3rd area produced $3.37. Got a flooded "HOT STUFF" quartz water resistant sport watch, which apparently had not seen the light of day in a while. Had a mickey mouse pin/charm/pendant? It is not marked, but a test scrape held on 10K, so it's going in the gold box, until I know better. A religious medallion, that is TINY. When I 1st dug it, I thought it might be an earring and it was grey in color, so my 1st thought was, maybe silver. When we got home, Huntress cleaned it up and it was gold, but I can see that it is 1 of those that has gold case caps around something else. The scrape did not hold on 10K with this 1, but it is still kinda cool. There is no K stamp on the medallion either. Somewhere along this hunt, I found a brass token and it says "Good For Adult Peep Show Only". I think when Max was visiting Galveston it fell out of his swim trunks! The next Token was VERY unique and I'm still not sure what I have. It has a pic of Eisenhower on the front and is gold in color. The edges are knurled, like a coin would be. On the front it says, "Dwight D Eisenhower 1953-1961 34th President of the United States". On the back it says, "Dwight D Eisenhower Born Oct 14, 1890. Nicknamed "IKE"; Popular Hero of World War II; Aided in Arranging the Korean Truce; First President of all 50 States. I thought I had found a gold coin, but there is 1 like it on e-bay and I guess I really don't have much after all. We had a great time and I quit at 630P and I coulda' kept goin', but Huntress was worn out and I wanted dinner, so we went home and she cooked shrimp for me! I LOVE THAT WOMAN! OH btw, was using the Aquasearch in the 1st 2 areas, but finished with the Excal as the last area is TRASHY!

one of those tokens the kids would get from Shell gas stations. President tokens have been produced at least twice during the 20th century.
