Haven't seen this posted lately so I thought I'd post it. This is the Sanborn fire maps. I have been looking for these maps for some time and finally found them from another site.

This is the web address and ID/password
sanborn.umi.com username=residence password=welcome

The maps for my town in Oklahoma go back to 1894. Pretty neat to look at and find the old buildings, etc.

Yea, those are pretty neat.. I saw a link to those
the other day, but didn't have time to really
look through the local maps too much.. I'll have to
check it out some more..
