many signals

sugar

New member
today i could go out and dig as we had some rain the other day i was having many signals at deep deep depths alot were 11 and 12 inches ranging from 11.34 to 11.40
ok dug three today and they are deep nails and other small pieces of corroded metal so i think i will reject them is anyone else getting these signals usually there is no sound with them just a target on the screen
what i did notice today is that everytime the 3030 told me there was a target yep as i dug down there it was so very pleased with that
not found anything interesting as the etrac has been down there for a year so as you all know not alot of chance
i feel after an afternoon i am ready for pastures new and just cant wait for a fresh bit of land just loaded my first programe which i found easy altering the paremeters and alloting tones to the sections and i am not technical so thrilled COR what a machine altered the light on the screen down to 3 and that has made all the difference thanks for all your continued topics about the settings

One thing to keep in mind is all of the time you have on the Etrac. As cool as target trace is, it is no substitute for the great processor between your ears. Target trace and ferrous-coin will help sort out potential good targets in iron, but it will also show falsing as good targets...just like the Etrac. You should audibly be able to hear a good target in you ear as well as see it on the screen. Most good targets are audibly repeatable. If it shows on target trace but you don't hear it, it is most likely a false. I detected some wet iron-rich ground the other day and the target trace was jumping all over. (tons of falsing)

wow there is still alot of falsing in iron with the ctx i think i might just stick with me etrac as it does the same thing thought thats what ferrous-coin was for figured there would not be any falsing

no bradley these look like bronze nails as there is no rust not just nail nails but not coins either hehe anyway i dont want to dig down 11 inches for them

Well in fairness he doesn't say how he had his machine set up nor if he had that function turned on. Personally I would wait until this is confirmed by more people.
