Manufacturer of CTX

MrBig

New member
I think, quality of product depends by country of production.
Is all CTX has manufacturer from Malasia?

I think your thinking is not right. The quality of a product has everything to do with quality control of the company and nothing to do with the country the work is done in.

Thank you for your answer! May be you right.
I'd like to know countries which manufacture CTXs. But, I don't find this information on official site.
Сan you look this information on your CTX? ;-)
Thank you!

I think the quality is great, regardless of where its made (although I am fairly sure it's Malaysia). Build quality is one thing you don't have to worry about when you deal with any of the top brands, such as Minelab. Minelab wouldn't have the following that they have if they had issue with build quality. Now, if you are the type of person that has personal issues with buying products from certain regions, then thats a personal issue and Minelab products (and many others) might not be for you. I personally don't care where a product is made, as long as it works well and is built well. The argument of having things "built at home" is of course a nice thought, but I completely understand why manufacturing/assembling products overseas makes sense.

I hope you figure out what you need to figure out with this thread but I can assure you that if build quality is a concern of yours, I wouldn't worry about that at all. -Marc

I may be wrong but I think the electronics are designed and manufactured in Australia and the machines are assembeled in Malaysia. Like the others have said Quality Control is Minelabs strong suit and as Marc said their following speaks for itself.
