Manual sensativity Question

Well-known member
I see how other detectorists run there units like the E-trac and se and explorer 2 but what about the explorer xs how would one run that unit i hear great results from manual sensativity. thank you

And I always run manual. I turn it up until it gets chattery. I think the way auto/man works is pretty much the same from the XS to the CTX. The newer detectors actually show what the actual auto setting is and that seems to have quashed all the debates on this subject.

The thing to remember with auto is that you never know what your machine is actually doing. There are times in auto it will run hotter than the equivalent manual setting but most of the time it will be less as it tries to provide a more stable machine.
