Manual adds silver

I went back to the honey hole of mine that has produced tons of silver for me this year, and went to a part of the field that i have hit in every direction possible. If i was a betting man i would have swore that no more coins were here.I switched over to manual and maxed out everything. To my surprise coins were popping out.I dug about 8 wheat pennies 2 war nickles and a silver washington.I learned alot about my machine today and i have to say that this machine is amazing.I cant wait to get back out to this spot but it will not be until it rains. This is the same spot that has produced 2 seated dimes and a large cent for me all in auto.I almost never detect in manual be cause of the noise.I have pulled tons of trash out of this site so it wasnt so bad.I did put the 6x8 sef coil on.

That's great! Congrats on the new finds.

It just goes to show what has been said before:
1- no place is ever "worked out"
2- learn your detector and the rewards will be yours!
3- manual mode is far different than auto on the E-Trac (and probably all detectors).
4- The E-Trac is a coin killin machine!

Thats right. Any hot spot is worth going back over with smart changes made to the machine. Lots of guys need to know that...great job.

same here i have hunted a paddock area for seven months and after not getting a bite i have turned to manual it is a complete new learning process for me but defo bringing up some targets sometimes when i get a signal in manual i turn back to auto and about fifty per cent of the time i dont get a peep so defo worth a go guys happy hunting

Great hunt !

I hear what your saying - I need to spend more time using Manual Sens. on places I've already hunted and found good coins too !

Yeah, just when you think it's over. You start getting deeper signals, over area's I thought were worked out. Working the dry beach sand, I had to get a deeper sand scoop, for one scooping older clad.
