Got an e-mail from Minelab and I thought I saw an update for the Manticore. You fellas that own one should look into it. Then again I just got done with the snowblower and may be snowblind...:cool:

Ted, I’m not noticing this issue with my 900. Have you contacted Minelab concerning this?
 
No I did not Jimmy! The last time I contacted Minelab it was like talking to a wall. I can't imagine their customer service has improved any.
 
I have had my EQ 900 since April 2023 and the VID numbers can be a bit "wide" on some targets...sometimes varying by as much as 4 VID numbers. I can still pretty much tell what I am about to dig and the VID variance is not bad, but was thinking the reason for the expanded ID range was to help narrow and get better target seperation that was not possible with the 800 and 600 target ranges.
