Managed to Squeeze out another Silver Today

I went out and did some door knocking this afternoon. I ended up at a small, old country farmhouse. I was expecting older stuff, but all targets were deep. I managed the usual clad, 14 wheats and squeezed out one Silver Dime. YES! Any time I dig silver, it has been a good dig. Thanks for looking.

Good job, Duke. I find it interesting to see the mint marks (or lack of) based on where a person hunts/lives. You seem to get a lot of plain wheats, which makes sense since you're in the east. Out here where I live in Idaho most of mine are S. It's rare to find a plain wheat cent for me and even a lot of my silver dimes have an S mint mark. Congrats on the silver!!

I have the Wheat Penny Whitman Binders from years ago when I was a kid and have slowly been filling them in. Most of what I'm missing are S mint marks. Several times, I have thought about posting a "feeler" to see if there might an interest in making some trades by mail.

Way to go Duke - Rosie's are getting hard to come by in my neck of the woods!

I'll trade some with you. I mainly have duplicates of S mintmarks in the 40s and 50s. Let me know which one's you need and we'll get it sorted out.

I think I need a few between 1940 and the last year. I know I'm missing quite a few from the beginning to 1939.

I find more Mercs than Roosies, which seems kind of odd to me. You would think it would be the other way around since the Roosie were more recent.
