You know what comes with rain don't you - Mosquitoes! Man, we went to a promising site this morning and I took two on the leg. Nate got hit in the shoulder. We retreated quickly to the van. 
The spot will have to wait.
Don't you have a rain cover for the machine. That is the one thing about the quattro is that I feel very confident with it in the rain. You would have to get it soaking to really do anything to it.
