[attachment 23070 Untitled-Scanned-01.jpg]I swear to God this is true,a few hunts ago I found a souvineer 1oo dollar key chain.Well today I found a real one in the rain.I took straight to the bank,they said was real and gave me a newer one.Once again this is not a prank. hh ojm
 
you will find this year! Most of our finds are not worth that much. How much is that in American? 14 dollars?? :D
 
a very small percentage are worth a hundred bucks.

Silver coins, unless they are key dates, are only worth bullion prices. A silver dime is worth maybe a buck, at least the last time I checked, which has been a while.

Gold rings are worth a bit more but most are worth only scrap gold prices. It is fun to find them but you have to find a buyer. I sold a whole hand full of gold rings to buy my first decient land detector. I had a lady at work though that would give me fourty bucks for a wedding band and I sold her some.

Some people make huge finds but that is not what most of us are in the hobby for.
