I was getting cabin fever and decided to brave the freezing temps and headed for the grade school down the road from my house. Thought I would see how my SE likes the cold weather and she didn't let me down. I tried to detect where the moss was kind of thick in the grassy playground areas as it kind of insulates the ground and it was actually pretty easy digging. Other areas were like cement and I just gave up in those spots. I managed to sniff out two more silver rings and got $1.51 in clad. I have dug several padlocks, but this is a first finding one that had the keys with it. My battery pack was kind of low and thought I could outlast them before the cold finally got to me, but the batteries won. After about two hours and my feet and fingers being almost frozen I decided to head home, but my SE got me two more silver rings and that's a good two hour hunt in my book. Thanks for looking and good luck to you fellows if you are able to get out. HH. Go Seahawks
