I guess he didn't know why they make those bore sighters in such bright colors! Or else he is color blind.

you cannot shoot very good---all I have ever done is start somewhere around 25 feet and get it to hit the Bullseye and then move out to 100 yds and finish sighting it in---Besides look what happens when you don't remove the Sighter--- It looks like the barrel is made out of (4) pieces; I always thought when they showed a barrel splitting in the comic strips that it Never split that way----WRONG---- Any one think the way I do is Not a good way to sight in a gun ? ? ?
 
I sight it in with the bore sighter to 200 yards.. then crack off a round or two to insure that the rifle is sighted in. Works for me. :): Never had to make an adjustment from year to year yet on the 25.. but the 30-06 was miles out and the sight saved me a few rounds.
