Makro Racer 2 stand

This may have been asked before. Has anyone come up with a light stand to use on the Racer 2 to keep it from falling over when you set it down? Something besides those plastic pipe stands. I was at Lowes today and saw a handle on a Troy Bilt weedeater that would work great. I'm going to see if i can order one online. If anyone has any other ideas please post it.

I'm still looking at the Racer 2 so not really sure if it's possible...A few years ago I had a detector that kept falling over. I purchased an arm cuff, (metal) from White's and installed it upside down on the handle. Presto!! Problem solved!

Here's mine. Easy on, off. Less than $4.

good job HD !! I was thinking something along those lines and went hell I couldn't be bothered

and did this http://www.findmall.com/read.php?102,2268140,2269374#msg-2269374

testing has proved its balanced light and strong enough, doesn't get it my way so I am happy might not be for everyone but an easy fix took 10 minutes once I worked out what I was going to do.

just so you know its a Tesoro arm cuff they fold out in the middle so just put a bit if silicone, gasket glue I used and fit the arm cuff on the rod sat it down so it was all level etc left it dry for 6 hrs odd and ready to go.

could cut the top side off if need be but I didn't see a need to just more work and well it just would look right would it and I can use again on the Tesoro if need be.
