MAKRO DISTRIBUTION

Nokta Detectors

Active member
Hello all. Just to give you guys an update - we have made a change in Makro brand distribution.
We will distribute the Makro brand to multiple dealers in the USA moving forward meaning we will not have an exclusive distributor.
There is no change in the Nokta brand distribution. It is still distributed thru Kellyco to other dealers.

For Makro, we are evaluating dealership applications and will assign a few more new dealerships based on certain criteria with location being the most important one.
Any dealer interested in selling Nokta products, should still contact Kellyco directly.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at dilek@noktadetectors.com

Thank you!

Dilek, Nokta should be distributed thru multiple dealers just like Makro....

I take it you've cornered yourselves via some sort of multi year agreement with KellyCo...

customers like having a choice and supporting the smaller dealers....

Your confusing Distributors with dealers ........ Few dealers could afford to become distributors. As stated the manufacturer has decided to self distribute to dealers on the Makro brand. Allowing smaller purchase amounts of detectors from dealers plus freight I'm sure.

A dealer buys from a distributor at reduced prices allowing for a mark up. The distributor buys many detectors from the manufacturer to sell to the dealers. Most times costing many thousands of dollars depending on the manufacturers requirements of purchase. They too make a markup profit. The down side to being a distributor such as Kelly co or others is..Their stock is not purchased back and as new models arrive the distributor must figure out how to sell old new stock at less profit and sometimes a near loss.... Notka products can be purchased from Kelly co for resale by any dealer business that desires to sell Nokta.

I wish I could get the Nokta stuff I want to buy....lol
